Poplar Farm Caravan Park has great facilities for touring caravans and motor homes in a riverside setting at the edge of the village of Acaster Malbis, just South of York. As well as tourers we accommodate residential caravans and holiday homes, and have a sales area for new and used holiday homes.
Tents and small campervans are welcome on the landscaped camping field, along the banks of a stream that runs to the river nearby. Electric hookups are available on the camp site for all our tent and hard standing pitches.
The River Ouse runs right by Poplar Farm, giving ideal opportunities for fishing. We have our own fishing pegs for our guests to use.
Boat moorings for small crafts are available on the river frontage. A river bus service operates in summer months, taking passengers directly to the heart of York.

Acaster Malbis May Village Festival 2025 takes place on Saturday 17 May. There will be a large and varied line-up of live music, bars, food stalls, craft stalls, plus activities for kids, historic vehicles, fun dog show and more! The Supermodels headline the evening entertainment, supported by many other performers during the day. There will new activities as well - including mini diggers!
